Cisco CCNA Certification (5 days) (3/10/2011 to 7/10/2011)
"I "very intensive" course, when they said "buckle up" at the door, it didnt begin to describe the intensity of the course. That said it was an "accelerated learning" course, and that is exactly what we got.
The training facilities and equipment were "way better" than I expected; I have trained in past years else where as a Novell CNE and MCSE and the equipment available and the all hours access were absolutly 100%, First class, the room was well layed out and comfortable. Every thing was well setup, all functional and made a hard course a bit easier to concentrate on the course material, not having to "fix "gremlins" along the way.
"
Phil Tarrant, Network Systems Technology.
Cisco CCNA Certification (5 days) (14/2/2011 to 18/2/2011)
"Training at Firebrand Training is brillaint, been here 3 times each time has been very educational and come out with lots of idea to implement.
Well worth it!!"
Jake Ryan, Thamesteel Limited.
Cisco CCNA Certification (5 days) (8/9/2008 to 13/9/2008)
"The CCNA certification course was tough, fast paced and effective. If you have time restrictions, this might be for you."
E.R.
Cisco CCNA Certification (5 days) (21/6/2010 to 26/6/2010)
"I´ve done a considerable amount of professional training in my career but I would place Firebrand at the top. I have never learned so much in such a short space of time! It surprised me how much I was capable of."
Richard Robinson, Scottish Power.
Cisco CCNA Certification (5 days) (5/11/2007 to 10/11/2007)
"Lots of pre-reading required."
Mark Wood.
Cisco CCNA Certification (5 days) (13/7/2009 to 18/7/2009)
"Excellent course, very intense and can't believe just how much I have learnt in such a short time." Andrew Stevens (Firebrand Cisco CCNA certified)
"I could not think of a better way to train for any Cisco certification and would recommend Firebrand Training to anyone." Colum Keenan (Firebrand CCNA certified)

CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE Routing and Switching certifications have received Gold certification from the IPv6 Forum's Education Certification Program. This means that students who gain these certifications can display the IPv6 logo, demonstrating that they have attained IPv6 knowledge and skills. The IPv6 Forum is a worldwide consortium of leading Internet vendors, Industry Subject Matter Experts, Research & Education Networks, with the mission to advocate the adoption of IPv6 technology.
Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
This information has been provided as a helpful tool for candidates considering training. Courses that include certification come with a certification guarantee. Firebrand Training provides a guarantee of obtaining certification at the training centre, but does not make any guarantees about personal successes or benefits of obtaining certification. Benefits of certification determined through studies do not guarantee any particular personal successes.

Why is Cisco at Firebrand different?
Firebrand’s accelerated CCNA course offers you access to more equipment than most of our competitors.
There are many Cisco training providers and the equipment used can vary greatly. Several use remote labs where you never see the actual equipment but do exercises based on a connection to a rack of equipment “somewhere”…
At Firebrand we see things differently. We believe that in your first exposure to Cisco you should see, feel, and touch the kit. You need to know about interfaces and ports, but not by seeing a PowerPoint slide or a diagram, rather by actually connecting cables to the router or switch.
You’ll work in pairs and share a “pod” of equipment located in a rack. You have your own 2811 router and 2960 switch, access to additional equipment such as a Frame-Relay switch, along with additional routers and switches should you wish to tinker.
The equipment we supply, alongside 24 hour lab access, gives you the tools to prepare you both for the CCNA exams, more importantly, the real world.
Firebrand Training offers top-quality technical education and certification training in an all-inclusive course package specifically designed for the needs and ease of our students. We attend to every detail so our students can focus solely on their studies and certification goals.
Our instructors teach to accommodate every student's learning needs through individualised instruction, hands-on labs, lab partner and group exercises, independent study, self-testing, and question/answer drills.
Firebrand Training has dedicated, well-equipped educational facilities where you will attend instruction and labs and have access to comfortable study and lounging rooms. Our students consistently say our facilities are second-to-none.
Should a student complete a Firebrand Training Program without having successfully passed all vendor examinations, the student may re-attend that program for a period of one year. Students will only be responsible for accommodations and vendor exam fees.

Due to the intense nature of this course, you should have a minimum of six months' experience of working with networks. You should be familiar with the TCP/IP suite of protocols, and be able to configure networking on a PC within a workgroup environment.
You will find it useful if you understand the concepts of routing and switching, and subnetting. These topics will be covered on the course but prior knowledge will be beneficial.
